It doesn't come from a fancy restaurant, a curry stand, or a famous chain restaurant; it feels like the safest home-made curry you can make, but it has a strong, deep flavor at its core. This is what I like to call "Japanese curry." It's a great take-out option these days, and it's just like the one you get at the store, and it's also packed with chunky potatoes. postscript This time I tried the chicken curry, and it was delicious with a spicy flavor that was different from the pork!
