After training in southern India, the owner worked at a curry restaurant in Tokyo before opening this restaurant. There are only about 4 types of curry, dessert, and drinks, but I think it's enough to enjoy curry to the fullest. I ordered a large serving of pork vindaloo rice (+100 yen), which is the spiciest in the restaurant. The curry had an exquisite sourness and spiciness, and was so spicy that it made me sweat as I continued eating. If you don't like spicy food, you may want to choose a different curry. The pork was so tender that you could tell that it had been stewed for a long time, and it was flavorful and delicious. There was also a side dish, so it was nice to have a break from chopsticks. Next time I would like to try the dry curry.

I don't like cilantro, so I asked for it separately and ate it with just a little bit on top. The sweet lassi and spicy dry curry were very delicious. It's a small shop and only one person works, so when I went there, it was full and I had to wait a while, but it was worth the wait.

A new curry shop opened at the south exit of Nishi-Ogikubo. The entrance is a little difficult to find, but follow the signboard and go up the narrow stairs to the second floor of the store. The inside of the store is small, and only about 8 people can fit inside. You can choose from three types of curry, and this time I ordered the lamb dry curry. There was a boiled egg in the middle and vegetables as a side dish. It's Indian curry style, but it's made to go well with rice, and it goes well with rice. The chai pudding I ordered for dessert was not too sweet, but rather bitter and delicious. The staff's response was gentle and gave me a very good impression. There are long-established and famous curry shops on the same street, but this one is personally the best.
