Setagaya City, Tokyo, Japan｜E-itou Curry(エイトカリー)下北沢

We were visiting the area and saw that there were lot of restaurants serving curry so we decided to try this one out. We got here in late afternoon and there was a small lineup, so we waited for a little bit, not long. This shop is small but has a good selection of homely cooked curries. We went with the Sapporo curry and Katsu curry. The curry you can choose varying spice, rice and other toppings so you can customize it to your liking. Overall the curry was very flavourful and good, not your typical sort of Japanese curry.

Had to wait a good 30 mins to get a table as it’s a small space and very popular with locals, but the curry is so good! Very well priced. We had the veggie curry and I added extra mushrooms. So tasty, we will be back 😋

Very nice curry, already spicy, choosing normal spice level for the first time might be a good idea.
