Osaka, Japan｜Tokumasa Yotsubashi

Not an expert here. We went where the locals go to. Just found this hidden gem in Yotsubashi basements around 8:30pm. Very accomodating to us foreigners. The curry was the best I had during our stay. But, the star of the show is the classic tonkatsu udon. I can't still wrap my head around on how the chef made the soup so clear yet bursting with umami. Order vending machine. Complete with disposable apron. You can watch how amazing the food is being prepared. Fast. The serving is very generous that even I can't finish. Very affordable.

There is no English menu but the chef was kind enough to come help us. We got the pork katsu curry with raw egg on top. One of the best curry I've had.
