Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan｜Cocoro

I had to close my eyes to savor every bite. I found this on google maps after being rejected by restaurants after 7pm… the lady and chef were so kind to take me in at 7:20pm. Extremely worth the price of 1900 yen for the juicy tonkatsu over rice and Japanese curry with vegetables.

We came here for lunch and had to wait for 10 minutes- once seated ordered the pork cutlet with curry and also the special (with fatty pork), both were very good, especially the curry was authentic. Service was friendly and price reasonable. Highly recommended!

The chef here knows their curry game. The kitchen is right there, giving it a cozy home-cooked vibe. We and the kids had a blast devouring our meals. Oh, and don't forget to grab a seasonal beer to go with it. Yum!
