Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan｜Katsunumatei

Despite being closed the wonderful owner still decided to accommodate us. The Beef Curry had just enough spice, and was plenty delicious. Very obviously a family run place with much love put into it. They offer both an English menu, and takeout! Absolutely incredible!

Best curry I have ever had. The "spicy pork" one. Amount of meat is rather small, but the taste is incredible. The Kamakura dark ale beer complements it perfectly. Salad size is good.

Very cosy tiny Japanese family run restaurant. Great atmosphere. Easy to find this place as it's situated on the way from the beach to Kamakura station. We had chicken curry with salad. We are very glad we had stopped here.
