More Comments at Google MapI came to the store after being told that it was an Indian curry restaurant made by an Indian. Many of the Indian curry restaurants in Japan today are run by non-Indians, and curry restaurants run by Indians are rare in Japan today. If the restaurant says ``Indian/Nepalese food,'' then it's almost certainly run by a Nepali person, and if it says ``Indian/Bangladeshi,'' it's almost certainly run by a Bangladeshi. Of course, there are cases where it only mentions Indian food. Well, what I ate was a smooth South Indian type vegetable curry. Contains large ingredients such as cauliflower and carrots. It wasn't a trendy (?) flashy seasoning, but it was delicious and didn't make your stomach feel heavy. The one-coin curry, which is located inside Seibu Department Store and costs 500 yen including tax, is a bargain even though it is small in size. Great for filling your stomach. The naan is also delicious without being dry. It's a bit unsettling because there's only a counter and no partitions on the aisle, but that's probably why it's so good at this price. Incidentally, even in India, curry can be smooth or thick depending on the region and the curry made. At this restaurant, the menu is divided into curry and masala. The curry was smooth and soupy, and the masala seemed to be a thick type. Isn't it great that you can choose according to your mood that day? If you think that Indian curry is only mushy and heavily seasoned, you are unfortunately ignorant m9(´・∀・`) Yay. I can't help but feel sorry for the store that it was given 1 star because of an ignorant person. However, I think it would be a good idea for the restaurant to add explanations of curry and masala to the menu to avoid unfortunate misunderstandings, considering that not everyone can tell the difference. The Indian clerk served customers with a straight face, so it may seem unfriendly to Japanese people who take smiling customer service for granted, but the customer service was generally kind. Although he doesn't smile, he has the feeling of being a kind neighbor. It's a foreign staff member who doesn't understand Japanese very well, so why not be a little more lenient with the people who write reviews in a furious manner? (;´Д`) (Is it possible?) If your naan is undercooked, just tell the staff and have them replace it. (2023/11) I bought chicken tikka masala, shrimp masala, and cheese naan to take home. I ate it a little later, so it was a little warm, but the cheese naan was delicious. According to the person who told me this, is it a brand? It seems like they use good quality cheese. As expected, the masala was thick and thick, and both the chicken and shrimp were delicious. By the way, the same person told me to stop eating fish masala because fish doesn't taste that good. I might dare to try it next time😂 (2023/12)
I ordered chicken masala tikka curry and it was delicious and not too salty. The naan bread is also large, so it doesn't seem expensive. There are only counter tables, so it's not suitable for families with small children, but it's better than Sati at other Indian restaurants nearby. I ordered Sagu chicken curry again this time, and the attached photo shows it.
Even the 500 yen set had a lot of volume. Butter chicken curry was delicious.
