Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan｜Alpin Jiro

The curry is excellent, and I am willing to say that this is the best curry that I have had in Japan. It is not your regular Japanese curry, and the flavours are enhanced by the spices that they use. The hamburg steak is excellent as well, and overall the price vs quality is simply too good to pass up. It is a bit out there for tourists, but if you are in Yokohama do consider it.

Without a doubt, Arupenjiro Honten was absolutely superb - 10/10. We ordered the soup curry with chicken (10/10) and the soup curry with hamburger steak (10/10). Both meals were perfectly prepared and very delicious! For the level of spiciness, we selected “Eiger” which was not too spicy at all. Our compliments to the wonderful and kind employees (10/10), they made our visit very memorable. We loved this restaurant, it was a world-class experience, we will be back (from Hawaii)! Very highly recommended!
