A small curry and rice specialty store with a very good taste. It has the feel of a bar in a residential area, but the last time I came here, I asked the owner and found out that the store was originally part of the main building of his home that had been renovated. I remember him saying, ``It used to be a garage.'' My mother, Mitsuko Kobayashi, has been running a local cooking class called "Mitsuko Kobayashi Cooking Salon" for over 30 years. When people talk about the taste of curry, one thing that surprisingly doesn't come up is white rice. This is not true for Indian or Asian cuisine, but for Japanese-style curry and rice, the white rice factor is extremely important. It shouldn't be too delicious, but food that isn't delicious is outrageous. That balance is difficult. The food at Kobayashi Curry Shop is extremely delicious.
