Hiroshima, Japan｜Hormon Tenpura Miyoshino

Hiroshima is famous for okonomiyaki, but I heard that another specialty is hormone tempura. It seems that the origin is a little further west, in Fukushima town, but I thought it would be a long way to go there, but I found this shop right behind my hotel. The freshly fried pieces are served on a cutting board, so you can cut them into bite-sized pieces yourself using a sharp knife. As recommended by the chef, I ate it with lemon soy sauce and chili pepper, and the unique aroma of offal and the refreshing flavor of lemon made it very delicious for the first time.

I used it for my first dinner in Hiroshima! I wanted to eat Hiroshima specialties other than okonomiyaki and oysters, so I looked it up and found out that there is something called horumon tempura. I heard that this restaurant was the origin, so I made a reservation in advance. I was with a 5-year-old child, but I was very grateful that the store staff and the regular customers welcomed me very warmly. I didn't tell them in particular when ordering, but I was impressed with their attention to detail. Did. The owner prepares the food by himself, so he carefully prepares each dish. Some people may not be able to wait if they are very hungry, but I found that every menu was very delicious and carefully prepared. I thought it was worth the wait, and the first texture and taste is quite addictive. In addition to the horumon tempura, all the menus we ordered were delicious. Even my daughter, who is picky about the taste of tamagoyaki, ate it so deliciously that she could eat it all by herself. I went to around Hiroshima Station for work. When I was looking for lunch, I found a taste shop "Miyoshino". At lunchtime, there is a set meal of the day that comes with pork miso soup. Full volume within 1000 yen. The pork soup is delicious with lots of ingredients and lots of vegetables. The specialty is horumon tempura, but you can only enjoy it at night.
