Jou-Tendon was good. It had various kinds of tempuras. I like this sweet sauce with smell of soy sauce. Couldn’t find English menu.

I used it several times for lunch. There are one or two nice women on the floor. When you enter, they will guide you to a vacant seat. It is a bowl of rice, and there are variations depending on the contents of the tempura. The tempura is life-sized, and the clothes don't make it look bigger, and the sauce is just right. The cheapest tendon is 700 yen with pickles and miso soup. I think it's a good deal. The picture is a tempura bowl and a mixed tempura bowl.

I visited during lunch time. The store was empty before 1am on a weekday. The four of us were seated at a table in the back without having to wait. I ordered the mixed tempura bowl that was on the menu at the table. 950 yen. Comes with miso soup and shinko. There were 2 pieces of shrimp tempura, eggplant, onions, shiso-maki squid, pumpkin, and about one other item, but I forgot. This is a crispy tempura with a slightly thick batter. The bowl is full of rice. The volume is there. Miso soup is shijimi. This may vary from day to day. Well, I don't think you can go wrong with the standard tempura bowl. It was delicious.
