Onomichi, Hiroshima, Japan｜Naokichi

I stopped by this place because it was close to my hotel. The food is neat and friendly, and the price is cheap for the quality, but the portions are small, so it's perfect for when you want a light drink or as a second drink. The downside is that there is no English or Korean menu. That means there are no foreigners visiting this place, so should this be called a local restaurant?

At the end of March, I made a reservation the day before and visited the store at 5:30 p.m. when it opened. The fish dishes, such as the butter-grilled sole of the tongue and the milt tempura, were exquisite. This one was too strong in taste, while this one was not too light, and I was impressed by the consistency of the taste. Maybe it's because the owner handles the cooking by himself. Since I was driving, I was grateful that there was a parking lot, although it was limited. I think this is a restaurant mainly run by locals, who are attentive to the timing of orders while observing how busy the owner is.

11/28 (Sunday) First visit! I was looking for this restaurant as a place to have dinner on the night I was sightseeing in Onomichi, but the atmosphere was very nice, and if there was a restaurant like this within walking distance of my home, I would want to go there every month. did! The food was prepared with great care and everything was delicious! In particular, the "Baby Sardine Tempura (650 yen)" has the backbone removed and the bone added later, so I enjoyed the soft meat and crispy bone texture!
