I usually go there for lunch with my husband on weekdays. I went there for lunch on a holiday after a long time at my daughter's request. Lunch on weekdays was also 1,300 yen, and lunch on holidays was 2,000 yen. With prices this high, it can't be helped. I didn't make a reservation, so I couldn't sit at the counter. Still, there was only one tatami seat available, so I was able to get in. I'm glad I went early because people who came later were turned away. As for the food, I ordered a 200 yen lunch and my daughter ordered a 3800 yen lunch. It was always freshly fried and delicious. For my daughter, the shrimp was tiger prawns, and the last dish was kakiage with ochazuke. Apparently, the kakiage was made with shrimp and was very delicious. It was my daughter's first time at a tempura specialty restaurant, so she was quite satisfied. I don't usually have kakiage for lunch, so I was full and satisfied. Next time I would like to try Tendon. I think it's better to go here before it opens or make a reservation. I think the tempura here and at Kyodo's ``Hayashi'' are delicious, and although each person has their own preferences, I would like to recommend them.

I came here after reading reviews that the kakiage bowl was amazing. I heard that there was a huge amount, so I was surprised and ate the service tempura bowl. A regular portion will fill you up. It's a nice atmosphere because they serve tempura right in front of you.

I'm not usually a big fan of tempura, but Horii-san's tempura is something I keep coming back to. I think this is one of the few hidden gems in Sagami-Ono where you can enjoy the perfectly fried food piping hot, and the taste of the carefully selected ingredients will spread in your mouth, making you feel happy. The owner's commitment and passion can be felt in each piece of tempura.
