Restaurant dedicated to making what is basically Japanese comfort food. My family are big fans of the roast pork donburi available for lunch (maybe also dinner).

Japanese restaurant “Isshin” in Higashi-Koganei Steak and freshly fried tempura are their signature menu items, and they also serve lunch. About 2 minutes walk from Higashi-Koganei Station. Convenience is very good. The interior of the store has a chic and calm atmosphere centered around the counter. It's a little dark, but it's a beautiful, Japanese-style space. There is one table seat in the back. Today I received Tenju (@990 yen) from the lunch menu. When you sit at the counter and place your order, your tempura will be fried in the kitchen right in front of you. The sound of oil splashing and the aromatic aroma whet your appetite. After waiting for a while, I was served Tenju, which was chewy rice topped with shrimp tempura, chicken tempura, and vegetable tempura (carrots, onions, eggplants, pumpkin, and green peppers). The crispy batter is soaked in plenty of sauce and is very delicious. It's freshly fried, so it's nice that it's piping hot. The miso soup had a good dashi stock and had a comforting taste. It's amazing that this quality is less than 1,000 yen. I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Crispy Soft and fluffy inside It has a vegetable scent and is very delicious😋 Angus beef smoked steak heavy set 1500 yen Comes with salad, small bowl, and soup The top is stuffed with beef and vegetables. Looks delicious with egg yolk on top Garlic smells The meat is soft, chewy and delicious😋 Salad small bowls are also delicious It comes with pickles and is also delicious. Free large serving of rice Services are also good, such as a 100 yen discount for students. The inside of the store is clean and has a nice calm feel. 7-8 counter seats 1 set of table for 4 people
