Located along Nakadori South Exit, a 4-minute walk from the south exit of Ogikubo Station. The unassuming red curtain is the landmark. Inside, there are counter seats at the entrance. There are about 5 table seats in the back. This is a shop where you can feel safe and family-like in Ogikubo, where there are many stylish shops. When I entered the store at lunch time, the counter seats were full and the table seats were empty. At lunch time, it was like choosing from various tempura menus. The shrimp are quite large. There is a wide variety of vegetables and they are chewy and thick. The vegetable tempura included asparagus (stem and leaves), shiitake mushrooms, eggplant, green pepper, shimeji mushrooms, lotus root, and satsuma sweet potatoes. Although not on the menu, you can also order the squid kakiage and shrimp kakiage individually to take home. The inside of the store is very clean, the customer service is very polite, and even the small items are organized. You can choose between water, cold tea, or hot tea, and they will frequently ask for refills. Each chopstick's packaging had a different illustration of seafood on it. You can feel the owner's attentiveness. The three of us had a lot of fun and it cost less than 5,000 yen. I think it's wonderful and reasonable.

I got a little lost and visited just before the end of lunch, but I was grateful for the pleasant customer service. I ordered the omakase tempura set meal, but the price is quite affordable! (Large rice for free) First of all, the appetizer bonito tataki and pickles are delicious. The tempura is light and crispy and has an irresistible aroma of sesame oil. The pumpkin was fluffy and the maitake mushrooms were as big as my fist! Miso soup with red soup stock is also delicious. The store is clean and comfortable. Thank you for the meal.

About 5 minutes walk from Ogikubo station. The food is delicious in a clean restaurant. I've only used it during lunch time, but I've said that it was good to take anyone with me. I many times used this restaurant for lunch time. The quality is very good and reasonable. Sometimes I take friends here. Everyone says it is very tasty.
