More Comments at Google MapDeep dish tempura bowl, less soup, so it's crispy. I was wandering around to eat lunch near Komagome Station, but since many restaurants are closed on Mondays, I ended up here. A style where you buy meal tickets from a ticket vending machine in one operation. After checking the amount of rice after the ticket was placed on the counter, they started frying the seeds, so even though it was a bowl, the tempura was crispy and not greasy. The sauce was a little lacking, perhaps to allow people to enjoy the texture, and I felt like it was lacking in the parts where the seeds overlapped, so I would have been happy if there was a bowl of sauce on the table. You can drink cold tea from your own teapot, but even though it wasn't greasy, I felt like I needed to refresh myself with warm tea at the end, so I was glad to have hot tea as well. I'm happy to have a chopstick break.
I visited Komagome Tendon, which is about a 2-3 minute walk from Komagome Station. It seems that the Royal Group, which develops the famous Tenya, just opened in December 2010. As a tempura lover, I decided to visit this place on a whim. Ordered the famous Komagome Tendon and Kami Tendon. Listening to the sound of skillfully frying and the pleasant aroma of sesame oil over the counter makes me hungry. A few minutes later, the tempura bowl arrives in a large bowl. It is an appetizing visual that is covered with tempura seeds so tightly that the rice is hidden. It was a type with a characteristic seaweed tempura and a batter on one side. Top tempura bowl includes 2 shrimp, squid, 4 kinds of vegetables (lotus root, eggplant, pumpkin, green pepper), seaweed. Komagome Tendon is a large conger eel, shrimp, squid, two kinds of vegetables (enoki mushrooms, shishito peppers), and seaweed (large size). *Please note that the tempura seeds may change depending on the season. When you arrive at the bowl, you will be shocked to be able to eat freshly fried tempura with this luxury. If you eat at a small tempura shop, it will cost around 3000-4000 yen. It is characterized by its light coating and large seeds, with a sweet sauce. One bite of shrimp makes you want to eat rice, and then you want to eat shrimp again. I had it with squid, which seems to be compatible with how much. The soft salmon roe pops and the soft squid melts and the seafood soup spreads in your mouth. The pumpkin used was fluffy and quite large, and it was luxurious. Every kind is delicious, and this is a feeling that a boom is coming! Visited in April 23. This tendon specialty restaurant is located a 3-minute walk from the east exit of Komagome Station. I was drawn into this store by the neat and clean appearance from its exterior, and the fragrant smell of oil that wafted out every time I passed by. I went into this place without high expectations, but I was very satisfied with the tendon. Komagome Tendon 1,200 yen. It comes with 2 shrimp, conger eel, squid, root vegetables, chili peppers, fried seaweed, and clam soup. The sign outside the store says that 海苔自慢 (seaweed) is the specialty of this store, and the fried seaweed was truly top-notch and delicious. Rice was placed on top of a large piece of fried seaweed, and despite the moisture in the rice, the seaweed was crispy and not soggy at all. The fries were great overall, but the root vegetables were especially crispy and delicious. Tentsuyu does not feel like you made it yourself, but feels like slightly moistening something that has been boiled down. The soup that comes with it is also delicious. It's fun to eat because there's a lot of clams in it. You can add a spoonful of salmon roe for 300 yen, which is delicious, but really? I would like to. In most cases, I think Tendon is enough, and if you like salmon roe or want to be a little more extravagant while spending money, it would be a good idea to order salmon roe as well. I think tendon of this size is worth going out of your way to eat. Komagome is close to Ikebukuro, Nippori, and Ueno, so if you're nearby, give it a try. suggestion!
