More Comments at Google MapIt's also my kids' favorite udon restaurant, and we've been going there for about 8 years. For warm udon, I like udon with mustard greens and meat, and vegetable soy milk udon. Especially the sardine soup stock is extremely delicious! I like dishes that combine cold udon with tempura, tomato tempura, shrimp and fried mochi. The seasonal menu also has things I'm interested in, so I'm always confused. The tempura is freshly fried, crispy, and delicious. The chicken tempura is unbelievably tender and juicy, my favorite. The children's favorites are wakame tempura, cheddar cheese Isobeage, and Japanese fries. There are also pickles, grilled miso cheese, and other things on the menu that appeal to me, so I always order a variety of other things.
Kake udon with wakame topping + gobo tempura and jack tempura. The udon noodles are moderately chewy, and the kaketsuyu is delicious with a strong dashi stock. I enjoyed the beer with Goboten as a snack.
After staying in Tachikawa, I randomly found this restaurant in Kokubunji and it was delicious! If you're in the area, this is a store you'll definitely want to visit again.
