More Comments at Google MapWow. Just wow. I usually don’t like tsukemono but this was delicious. The tempura even more so. Totally worth the price.
On New Year's Day, after having breakfast at the hotel, we headed to Tokyo Tower at my father's request. Actually, I had never climbed up to the top deck, but I was happy to see Mt. Fuji with not a single cloud in sight. We moved around as my father wanted, stopping at Zojoji Temple and strolling around the Sugamo Jizo-dori shopping street. As I was tired, I met up with my wife and visited Ginza Tenichi, a tempura specialty restaurant in Ikebukuro Seibu. I want my father to taste the taste of a long-established restaurant that has been loved by political and business circles and many cultural figures since before the war. With that in mind, I reserved a seat at the counter for tonight where I could eat each dish individually. I can't help but admire the beauty of the craftsman's skill in frying each ingredient one by one. The tempura that makes a hissing sound and is placed on the paper is different from what I usually eat. The tempura starts with shrimp legs, which are crispy and very delicious. Next are shrimp, asparagus, duck, shiitake mushroom stuffed with shrimp, scallops, and conger eel. To finish off the meal, we had fried shrimp with tencha sauce. Early in the new year, I had a great time chatting with my father and wife while eating delicious tempura.
Soft and crispy. I had it for the first time. A store with a food section Number of seats: 6 It was piping hot, and the red soup stock was strong and had a nice flavor.
