We had an excellent lunch here as a break from shopping at Kappabashi. The restaurant is run by a couple with excellent tempura including the batter made to order. The atmosphere is cool and pleasant with jazz playing in the background and our visit was a sanctuary from the summer heat outside

A tempura restaurant near Kappabashi shopping street. It is run by a husband and wife team. The BGM was jazz chosen by the shop owner🎵They both lived in New York for a long time, so I think the jazz music came from there. Seasonal ingredients (seafood and vegetables) are made into tempura with great skill. The tempura wrapped in a crispy batter is really delicious! There are three types of menu: tempura set meal and tempura bowl. This time I had the tempura bowl, and I wanted to enjoy it slowly, but it was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it with chopsticks 😋 The accompanying bowl and pickles were both good (*^_^*) A restaurant where you can be satisfied with whatever you eat. The atmosphere created by the couple was also wonderful.

It is a small tendong house run by an old couple. I really liked the unique Japanese atmosphere. Actually, it's my first time eating tendon, so I can't compare it to other places. It was delicious enough. At other restaurants, the miso soup and other foods were always salty. The food here was better because it wasn't overly seasoned. They sell bottled beer and Japanese sake, but there is no draft beer. It was disappointing.
