More Comments at Google MapA restaurant that serves Edomae Tendon. I had the Kiss Jotendon, and the fried shibaba shrimp was delicious. The tempura bowl is moist and is made by dipping the freshly fried tempura into the soup and placing the lid on top. You can enjoy it by steaming it to your liking. Even after steaming, the batter doesn't fall apart and feels good. I imagined Shiba shrimp to be a little smaller and dryer, but the kakiage was packed with lots of small shrimp, about the size of large plump vannamei shrimp, and was sweet and extremely delicious. It was an elegant shrimp with more flavor than sweet shrimp and less shrimp smell than vannamei shrimp. Edomae-style tempura and tendon restaurants tend to over-produce the aroma, but this one had a very subdued flavor, which made a very good impression. I would recommend this restaurant because the soup has a gentler flavor and the aftertaste is better than the Edomae Tendon restaurant near Kuramae where there is a long line of people.
[Added on 2019.11.11] Visited several times already. A few days ago, I had a tempura course at a banquet. I like this tempura because the batter is crispy and firm. As for the course, the last kakiage can be served as is or on top of rice to make a tempura bowl, making it a mini tempura bowl. The sauce is not too sweet or sticky and is also delicious. By the way, the restaurant was almost full. [First review] The tempura set meal was crispy and delicious. Crispy until the end without being dry. The shop was Japanese-style and calm, which was nice, and the prices were reasonable for a long-established store. Next time I'll go with my family who loves Tendon.
A very delicious tempura restaurant that I have been patronizing for a long time. It has a long history, and everything from tempura to tea, pickles, and miso soup is delicious. The staff is also very friendly and I always enjoy my meal every time I go there. I would like to eat here regularly in the future.
