Wakayama, Japan｜Keian Teuchi Soba Udon

I stopped by with my family. I wanted to try soba and udon noodles and tempura, so the three of us ordered tempura soba, tempura rice bowl, and a set meal of the day. The daily set meal on this day is pork cutlet, and the noodles you can choose are hot udon. Both soba and udon are made in-house. The udon soup had a strong flavor of the soup stock, and it was delicious with a mellow and gentle seasoning. The tempura batter is also crispy! It is fried and very delicious. And I was surprised by the quality of the daily pork cutlet that puts Western restaurants to shame. Not to mention crispy fried tonkatsu, the homemade demi-glace sauce is delicious. This tonkatsu comes with salad, rice, and regular-sized soba or udon noodles. All the menu items were very delicious, and I was very satisfied with the volume. I felt the prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. The inside of the store is beautiful, and although the parking lot is a little narrow, there are several parking spaces on the store premises, so I think it is an easy-to-use store. I would like to repeat again.

The udon soup is delicious! Many people don't close the sliding door at the entrance properly, which makes the waitress in a bad mood lol Be careful as there are a lot of daily specials! On hot days, I recommend changing to the thin udon noodles.

This is my second visit. I ordered the daily special twice. The first time was chicken miso cutlet and warm udon, and the second time was pork cutlet and warm udon. The udon noodles are thick, chewy, and delicious. It's crowded at lunchtime, so it's a little difficult to park, but it's cost-effective and delicious, so I recommend it.
