Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan｜Kawagoeya

We had udon and kare soba here. Portions are huuuuuge. Prices are normal for portion (not super cheap). The waiter was a super friendly guy! He was nice to us. I think they speak english too. Menu doesnt have any english, and its difficult to read even in Japanese.

It's located underground in front of Kamakura Station, so it may be hard to find for a moment, but there are a variety of a la carte dishes that you can enjoy as snacks with your drinks. The impact of the pork curry udon and large shrimp tempura was amazing, and it was very delicious. I want to go again. There are limited quantity sets, so if you want to try a variety of things, that's also recommended (^^)

I am always taken care of when I come to Kamakura. My favorite is soba noodles with tempura! Actually, I usually prefer udon, but when I come here, I feel the goodness of fragrant soba. On this day, I had the kawagoeya Zengoku (¥1,650) recommended by the staff. As always, it comes with crispy tempura, fresh shirasu rice bowl, sashimi, and a little boiled dish. Soba noodles can be hot or cold, so you can choose. It's getting colder, so I was relieved to have soba-yu (buckwheat water) afterwards.Thank you for your continued support.
