Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan｜Nakashoya

We came to visit our Japanese friend in Kawagoe and her mother brought us here. The service was nice and the food delicious. According to my boyfriend who so loves zaru soba, the one from this restaurant is the best he has ever had. It's just around the corner of Kashiya Yokocho and you can easily walk here. Highly recommend if you are a soba lover! By the way, though, I think you might need to book in advance and staff don't really speak English so you might have to ask someone to do it for you.

The building is old and has an atmosphere. When I visited on a hot day, they served me cold soba tea, which made me very happy. Both soba and tempura are of course delicious. The most recommended thing is the customer service of the store staff. It was bright and kind, and didn't have the high-handedness that is common at famous restaurants in tourist areas. The store staff were friendly and looked like they appeared in a drama. Just a short walk from Kashiya Yokocho There seems to be a parking lot as well. Electronic money compatible very good shop
