A very comfortable soba restaurant ^ ^ A cheerful mother will welcome you. I ate Molokheiya soba, which is hard to eat.

You can enjoy your meal in a clean restaurant. This was my first visit, right when the store opened at 11am. The noren curtain was on, so I opened the door and said, ``Hello,'' and entered the store. The inside of the store is clean and nice as well as the outside. Hand sanitizer is also placed to the right of the entrance. I was visiting by myself, but there are 6 tables, counter seats, and a tatami room in the back, but the staff asked me to go to a larger space, so I accepted her request and sat at a table. I ordered the udon set meal, zaru udon and kakiage mini bowl (770 yen). Along with the menu, there was also a nutritional information table, which is rare at non-chain restaurants, so I took my time to look at it. I learned for the first time that soba noodles have more calories than udon noodles. I had the impression that soba was low in calories, but I was surprised. The order was delivered a little slowly in about 10 minutes. Add all the green onions and wasabi that come with the cold soup. The udon noodles are shiny and look nice, and although they are thin, they have a nice waist to them. Kakiage bowls usually have the image of being flat, but I was a bit surprised to see that they were about 7cm in diameter, conical, and about the same height, so I ended up breaking them with chopsticks and making them flat. The kakiage was mainly onions, and as the label said, it also contained small shrimp, and it was delicious. The set also includes pickled cucumbers and boiled soybeans. The cucumbers are thick, typical of local cuisine, and that's what I like. When I was born and raised near the city center, cucumbers were thin, but when I moved to the northern part of Saitama, I learned that thicker cucumbers taste better. At this time of year, they are probably grown in greenhouses with vertical pillars, but after living here, I learned about the rich and delicious taste of underground cucumbers grown outdoors in the summer. I received all of it and it looked like it was enough, but as a big eater like me, there wasn't much udon or rice (for reference, the calorific value was 729kcal). If I'm hungry next time I visit, I'd like to try two types of noodles or a full size or large bowl of noodles and rice bowl. I paid the bill and left the store. Payment seems to be cash only. NHK's Radio 1, which I like, was playing inside the store, and it was nice that it wasn't noisy and calm. I also read the Saitama Shimbun for the first time in a while. By the time I left at 11:30 a.m., there were no other customers and the place was reserved, but the prices were not high and the parking space was large, so I think it was busy during lunchtime. Thank you for the meal. (Visit date 2022/03/10 (Thu))

I had cold soup soba. It was delicious with a strong sesame flavor.
