Fujimino, Saitama, Japan｜むぎとろ

Wonderfully 'rustic' place. The food is great, some of the best tempura I've had, they use seasonal vegetables and fresh ingredients. Recommended!

It is located along Kawagoe Highway, 10 minutes from Fujimino Station. The inside of the store is surrounded by aged furniture and is a long-established store steeped in history. It's cold today, but I ate some cold udon noodles with grated yam. Soak the slightly soft and short noodles in the grated mentsuyu. The amount may not have been much, but I drank every drop of the juice and was 80% hungry. It was a moment filled with nostalgia❗️

It's barley toro rice. Tororo has a sticky consistency and mixes well with barley rice. It's originally seasoned exquisitely, but adding wasabi makes it even more delicious. Miso soup and pickles are both delicious. It's good to go to a restaurant that has proper side dishes such as garnishes. Please note that the location of the parking lot has recently changed.
