I ate warm shrimp tempura soba and red bean paste. Tempura was served on a separate plate, so I was able to eat it with salt or add it to soba noodles, which was great. It was my first time eating Akaten and it was so delicious! The staff was also very nice, and I was relieved to see that the chopstick rests were made of chestnut and that they probably served the dishes in accordance with the season. This is a restaurant that I would like to eat at again.

I think it's definitely a famous restaurant in this area. Fragrant and chewy handmade soba noodles, and perfectly fried, crispy tempura. Other than that, it's a delicious restaurant with everything from cold tofu to grilled duck. What's more, because they want to compete only with soba noodles, they don't serve udon or rice bowls, which is impressive. This is a highly recommended restaurant that has been renovated and has a nice atmosphere and great customer service.

There are reviews with low stars for small portions, but the portions are standard for a handmade soba restaurant. If you have unrealistically high expectations for authentic soba noodles that are cheap and voluminous, you'll end up with a harsh review. It's a popular store, and when I went there at opening time, there was already a line, but the clerk said, ``If you write your name and come back around 12:00, we'll let you in,'' so the next step was to calculate the time. It would be helpful if you could do the following and secure it. Since the store is near the station, I was able to kill time at the nearby bookstore. You can enjoy delicious soba noodles in a beautiful and spacious space with jazz music. I enjoyed the walnut soba, and it went perfectly with the sweetness and was a nice reward for my mouth. Not only was the food delicious, but the hospitality was top-notch. We can guarantee a high level of satisfaction.
