Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, Japan｜Marugame Seimen Fujinomiya

We arrived the town around 7:30 p.m. and coincidently found by google it and this restaurant open till 9p.m. where many of them close soon. There isn’t English in the menu but luckily you can see and order by the photo. We just randomly ordered without knowing what it is but It turned out well. Udon with the tomato sauce is yummy, eating with varieties of tempura. The Niku-Udon is also good. Recommended. 👍🏻

They have a variety menu of udon but what’s different is that you can customize it to your liking and of course the price may vary according to your customization. You can choose the toppings, side dish, soup or dry, fried chicken or fried fish, normal height tables and seat or japanese style short tables plus it’s an open kitchen so you get to see how they cook and everything. The restaurant is spacious and large enough to fit many customers although you may find it crowded on weekends and holidays. English is non-existent within this space so get your translator app ready beforehand if you’re a foreigner.

Best Udon I had in Japa so far. The Udon is freshly prepared right in front of you (open kitche).
