More Comments at Google MapI am Japanese American and this was the best soba place I've ever had. It's not tourist friendly as there's no English menu and English isn't widely spoken in kofu. However the service was good. The food was DELICIOUS. This place is authentic and locals love it. If you can deal with them making fun of you in Japanese behind your back (or directly infront of you) and cigarette smoke, you're in for some good food.
Quite delicious
At noon during the Obon holiday, I wanted to eat raw soba in hot Kofu, so I visited Kirisan. A 5-minute walk from the north exit of the station, there were about 3 groups of customers waiting when I arrived at the store. It's a testament to how popular it is. Are you the proprietress of the shop? I was impressed by the way they managed the restaurant by talking to the customers. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I entered the shop and ordered Tenseiro and the famous boiled chicken offal. The simmered chicken offal had a moderately sweet sauce and a moderately textured motsu, and it was eaten up in no time. The soba noodles were easy to eat, and when you put them in your mouth, the fragrance spreads, and they were good soba noodles. Tempura can be eaten with salt or dipped in sauce. It was great in hot summer. Next time I would like to revisit to eat warm soba. It was a feast🥢✨
