Seto, Aichi, Japan｜Cherry Blossoms

I had the Tsubomi Gozen for lunch. The price was reasonable and it was delicious. Dessert and coffee were also included after the meal.

I stopped by on my way home from the Seto Lucky Cat Festival. Although it is a small restaurant, it also serves lunch. Lunch is available except on Sundays, which are closed. This time I took the plunge and ordered the Sakura Gozen for 1,620 yen. The dishes include assorted sashimi, chawan mushi, small bowls, and a 4-item platter. Just then, tempura and grilled fish came out, and there was no place to put them on the table. Especially the grilled fish (cod) is delicious. You can tell the freshness of the fish by grilling it. You can use frozen sashimi, but you can immediately tell that grilled fish is frozen. The sashimi is also fresh bonito and sea bream. The chawanmushi also had a good taste. Like miso soup, other stews are also made with good dashi stock. The taste of a restaurant is determined by the soup stock. All dishes are carefully prepared. I think the price is cheap considering the ingredients and taste. The other lunch menus also look good. When I finally went to pay the bill, I was told that they still had fruit and coffee. This is a very satisfying shop.

I've become a fan since I visited for lunch with an acquaintance's introduction. I'm happy to be able to have freshly made food, and I can see the chef's cooking. All delicious and reasonably priced.
