More Comments at Google MapThe food takes some time but the soba is amazing for the price
It was my first time visiting. I went there using the navigation system, but even though the tour ended right in front of me, I ended up looking around the area (lol). When I finally got there, it was already full. I got the number 1 reservation buzzer and waited in the car. In the meantime, I decided on the menu using the photos on Google Maps, heard the ringtone, and entered the restaurant.A female staff member welcomed me warmly and showed me to a table, but I couldn't decide between kabosu soba and tempura soba. When I asked the female staff member if the portion was large, she looked worried.I was hungry after waiting so I ordered both.My companion ordered Tenseiro and Yuba sashimi.Actually, I wanted to order grilled green onions as well. But I gave up because I wasn't confident that I would be able to finish it all. When I looked at the menu, I saw that iced coffee was 50 yen.I ordered two of these as well. It's the most important taste, but the soba noodles with tempura soba were a little soft. The tempura was made with potatoes, rice, eggplant, and tomatoes wrapped in perilla leaves. The shrimp was also delicious. The amount of tempura was more than I expected, and just as I was feeling full, the kabosu soba was served and I felt it was a little strange. The warm soba was soft, but I couldn't see the soba. The cold soba noodles covered with a moderate amount of kabosu are chewy and satisfying to eat.I feel like if I ate this one first, it would have settled into my stomach more smoothly. The soup was thicker. The scent and sourness of the kabosu was exquisite.Warm soba noodles The thickness of the soba is also to my liking. My companion also finished it all and said it was delicious. The tempura soba was delicious whether eaten with salt or in the soup after finishing the soba. There was a lot of tempura. Two servings was too much for me. Even though I was full, the soba-yu was so delicious that I felt like I was going to burst after drinking three cups. It was a restaurant I would definitely like to visit again. Next time, I would like to drink soba shochu, but I don't have a car. So it's a shame. Thank you for the meal.
A hidden soba restaurant in a house About 4 minutes by car from Honchiba Station Because the store is located a little further back. First of all, it is difficult to find the store from the outside. A house surrounded by greenery Noren also doesn't have a store name. This is a shop that only those in the know know and where locals gather. When you enter the store, you will see a room with a stone mill. Using soba noodles ground that day Commitment to hand-made and served every day In such a hidden place I never thought I could enjoy such authentic soba! ◼︎Tempero (2 pieces of shrimp tempura) ¥2.800 ◼︎Large portion ¥400 ◼︎Duck steamer (with grilled duck) ¥2,800 *Shared by 2 people If you order a large portion, the soba noodles will come in two tiers. For tempura, you can choose between one shrimp tempura and two shrimp tempura. The duck steamer is served on a separate plate, and you can choose between grilled and ungrilled duck. Tempura has a thin coating The batter locks in the flavor of the ingredients and leaves it juicy on the inside. The tempura was of such a high standard. The duck is surprisingly full of juice and flavor. Pesticide-free wasabi purchased from Nishi-Izu The carefully selected wasabi does not dissolve in the soup. It is recommended to eat it with soba noodles. For each house, Enjoy soba noodles in a tatami room with a view of the inner garden. I was able to come across a wonderful shop.
