I went on an unplanned short trip to Choshi and was walking around looking for dinner when I found this hidden restaurant. It was crowded with reservations, but we were able to fit two people in just in time. The appetizers were good, everything I ordered was delicious, and the staff was very kind.I couldn't think of a better restaurant. I ordered flat sushi sticks because they were said to be a specialty. We also ordered a 5-piece sashimi platter, fried horse mackerel, fried namerou, and pickled sardines. Sashimi includes tuna, sea bream, yellowtail, conger eel, and seared bonito. Everything was covered with oil so I ordered it and it was a good idea! The fried horse mackerel has a thin batter that stands out and is crispy. It came with a mini salad and tartar sauce, so I ordered this again and it was a good idea! I had no idea what namero fries were, but they were deep-fried namero wrapped in perilla leaves. I ordered this again and it was a good idea! The pickled sardines are so fresh that I thought it would be a waste to pickle them. I ordered this again with just the right amount of pickled vinegar! And flat sushi. As it is a specialty, it tasted better than any other sushi I have ever eaten. So everything was delicious. Thank you for going without a reservation and for accommodating me despite my busy schedule m(_ _)m Next time I go to Choshi, I will make sure to make a reservation. Thank you for the meal (•‿•)
The nearby hotel's restaurant was closed, so I was looking for a place to eat dinner, and perhaps because it was a rainy day, it was empty and I was able to eat there. It was a quiet place and the drinks and food were delicious.
