More Comments at Google MapWe had the vegetable tempura soba set and medicinal curry soba set, which are only available on weekdays. The vegetable tempura soba set has a strong soba soup with bonito stock and is very delicious. The medicinal curry was well seasoned with the soup stock, and I was able to drink up the soup to the very end. The shop is run by two quiet men. The store is clean, and the hearth in the center of the store has a nice atmosphere. Maybe it's just the taste of the restaurant, but the cushions are quite faded, so I thought it would be easier for young people to come and go if they were re-covered.
The medicinal curry soba (1,400 yen) was my first experience of dipping cold soba noodles into warm curry. The soba noodles were thin and delicious, and I wanted to try them with regular dipping sauce. I think it would be a waste to add it to curry. Curry is the type served at so-called soba restaurants. Lunch comes with mini rice, so I added it to the curry at the end and ate it all.
The recommended dish seems to be the duck soup soba. However, the menu item that caught my attention was the medicinal curry soba. Serve with spicy curry as a dipping sauce. It has a refreshing spiciness that will make you sweat a little by the time you finish eating the soba, and you can drink it as is, but today I finished it off with rice (small) 🍀 It’s a masterpiece✨
