More Comments at Google MapIf you want to eat delicious tempura in Mito, I definitely recommend this place. In addition to tempura, seasonal dishes are also very delicious. And best of all, the sake lineup is amazing! There are hidden rare alcoholic beverages that you can't even drink in Tokyo.
I used it for my wedding anniversary. I was able to spend a relaxing time in a private room with a view of the counter. I had only intended to have a meal, but the appetizers, sashimi, and tempura were each carefully crafted and delicious, and I started craving alcohol, so I ordered more halfway through the meal. The plum salt and sea salt for tempura were also delicious. I was happy to be able to take home the clay pot rice that I couldn't finish, as it felt like a souvenir. The customer service was polite and we had a wonderful time. I would definitely like to use it again.
My husband and I have visited several times for anniversaries, etc. No matter when I visit, the inside of the store is polished to a shine and feels very pleasant (no oily smell). There is no harsh atmosphere that you would find among the [craftsmen], and the store manager and other staff members are very friendly, and everyone always greets you with a smile. The main course is the course menu, but the appetizers each time have a seasonal feel, the sashimi is fresh, and the bowls and presentation are very nice. The main tempura is extremely delicious, with a crispy coating and just the right amount of fried inside. And surprisingly, there is no leaning. On my last visit, I had the duck hotpot for the first time. The duck meat has no odor at all, and is tender and juicy. The many white onions left my mouth feeling refreshed, so I was able to enjoy it even after eating the tempura. The soba noodles at the end also soaked up the duck stock, making them even more delicious. For dessert, we had a strawberry tart made by the manager. This is a deliciousness that rivals specialty stores. (If possible, I would be even happier if I could have coffee or tea with this delicious dessert.) Currently, we only have course meals, but I love Ichimon's potato salad, so I would be happy if they could bring back a la carte dishes like they did before the coronavirus pandemic. Ichimon-san is a wonderful restaurant where not only the food is great, but the employees also do their best to provide hospitality. There are not many shops like this. I can recommend this store with confidence.
