I rushed in after the scheduled time because Monaka was famous. Thank you to the store staff who explained the products with a smile even though they were just about to close. I bought a freshly made manju (manju), which was their signature product, monaka (large), for about 150 yen. It's thin and packed with sweet white bean paste. Personally, the manju was more delicious than I expected!!Next time, I would like to buy a box full of small manju for errands. Of course I have steamed buns for myself! It was a feast~

Founded in the Keio era, this is a super long-established Japanese confectionery shop. The house I was born and raised in always gives me a blissful time with my favorite sweets. I think Oribe Manju is the best in Tokyo. Funamizu Yokan, which is only available in summer, is also delicious.
