Stumbled upon this place after visiting the nearby temple and was immediately attracted to the “hole in the wall” vibe. So glad I stopped by. The food is absolutely delicious and the ambiance is relaxed and friendly. I had the recommended okonomiyaki and ume-shu. My bill came to ¥1350, very reasonable for the quality and experience. Highly recommended.

A great hole in the wall! Came for an early dinner at 6pm. My sister and I were the only guests beside a couple of older ladies. We had the takara's yakisoba and takara's okonomiyaki. The food is subtle, the okonomiyaki and yakisoba isn't as fishy as other places, just the way I like it. I thought the yakisoba was amazing with the egg. The atmosphere was amazing, especially when the local older ladies were a bit buzzed and so they initiated conversation and we had a great time talking to them. Felt like we had a true glimpse of a local japanese neighborhood. The male staff can also speak conversational english and there is an english menu. Coming here on a whim was one of the best decisions I've made for the Japan trip.
