Ise, Mie, Japan｜Ookami

A really great meal! Friendly service and probably the best tasting food we've had on this trip so far. Can't go wrong with whatever you order.

It's not a store aimed at tourists, but it's a conscientious and cost-effective store! I went to Ise Jingu Shrine to thank God for a good match and good health for six months and to put down an amulet. Arrive in the evening and deposit the amulet at Naiku and then at Sarutahiko Shrine. Today ends. For dinner, go to your favorite restaurant...and take a break. Yay, my next favorite shop is... closed. I'll look for one near the hotel. So, let's go to this store. It looks fashionable, but since you can't see what's inside, it's quite difficult to get into. When you walk into the store, it's like a cafe? Izakaya? The inside of the store feels like that. I sat at the counter and ordered a draft beer for 500 yen. For snacks, please select from the blackboard [650 yen for small sashimi platter] or [600 yen for sea bream]. The sashimi is extremely fresh at a reasonable price!! And the cooked fish is delicious too! It's not a restaurant that caters to tourists, but it's a reasonable restaurant with excellent value for money! Recommended!!

The sake is delicious🤔 The shop was located on the corner of an intersection right next to Ise City Station. It's a wonderful shop called ``Ookami''. The store was crowded with locals. The menu was extensive and the drinks were endless. I discovered my love for sake at this restaurant🍶 Japanese sake that I had been drinking casually until now. Sake was something I had never been willing to drink. Sake I didn't really like aftertaste However, now I want to try different types of sake! That's how I feel. This is because the sake I drank at this restaurant, called ``Saya'', had a sweet and fruity taste. After this bottle, I started to appreciate Japanese sake very much. The ``Hokosugi'' that was recommended to me by a nice local man was dry, but extremely delicious. Thank you for the treat. Finally, thank you British man.
