I went there just before closing time, so I ordered a small amount. The sashimi was delicious, and when I asked about the fish, the staff gave me detailed information. I received many recommendations such as Kiss Fries, but I gave up because I didn't have the space in my stomach. I would like to go there next time I come to Onomichi again.

I visited this izakaya on the recommendation of a colleague, and from the outside it looks like an ordinary old-fashioned izakaya. The seared mackerel in the appetizer is carefully grilled, and although it is thick, there is no smell at all, and the fat is on top. Small green onions, onions, and garlic slices are on top, and the fatty flavor of the mackerel is combined with the acidity of the ponzu sauce. The ponzu itself has a strong citrus flavor and sourness, and is very delicious when served as an appetizer. Tempura includes octopus, squid, conger eel, kiss, shrimp, lotus root, sweet potato, eggplant, onion, green pepper and other vegetables. Freshly fried, the batter is light, the plumpness of the conger eel and the texture of the vegetables appeal to my chopsticks, and I was surprised at how soft the squid tempura was. Filefish sashimi is characterized by its crunchy texture and the creamy taste of liver soy sauce that goes well with the light white meat. The liver has no odor, and it is as delicious as freshly-picked sea urchin. The conger eel bowl has a moderately sweet sauce, and although overall it is light, it is a dish that goes well with rice due to the deliciousness of the conger eel. Everything from the appetizer to the garnish of the rice bowl is delicious, and even those who are not very interested in fish dishes will surely like it. The price is about the same as a small restaurant, but I don't think you will regret it, so I give it the highest rating.

The dishes are made with fresh fish, so anything you eat will be delicious. We recommend the sashimi platter, tempura, and simmered Akou.
