It is a family-run business. Therefore, during busy times, the food may be served a little slowly, but you will be able to enjoy fresh local cuisine. The horse mackerel pickled in Nanban was especially delicious. Also, all dishes are voluminous. The price is reasonable and it feels like a good deal.

Kiritanpo is an izakaya located on the outskirts of Onomichi. I visited this restaurant because it was recommended to me as delicious, but even though the hurdles were higher, Kinkin's beer and exquisite sashimi easily surpassed it. Whatever you order, it's delicious. Not only are the ingredients fresh, but the seasoning is also exquisite. The problem is that it's a little far from the center, but it's definitely worth a visit.

Kiritanpo in Onomichi...? I thought, but it turned out to be a versatile izakaya where you can also enjoy sashimi, tempura, and meat dishes. When I ordered swordfish tempura, I was surprised to find that it came with an assortment of vegetable tempura. Of course it was delicious. I want to go again♪
