Was searching a restaurant to have lunch as not much option nearby, and this was just located beside train station. Nice meal and portion is huge. Couldnt finish my rice.

Yesterday, I ordered a beef tendon stew set meal. The seasoning was strong, but the aftertaste was refreshing and I would like to order it again. It's been a while since I last had lunch at Hanano Mai Kawabe branch. Without hesitation, I ordered the ``Katsuju Gozen''. It has more volume than it looks and will fill you up. The lunch menu has been updated.

It is about a 3 minute walk from the north exit of Kawabe Station. I arrived at the store after lunch time. I received the lunch menu. It was cheap and delicious. Free large serving of rice and free refills of miso soup. If you come in after lunch time, it will be empty and you can eat comfortably. The staff was also very nice.
