Environment was awesome with a la carte style ordering. Although we were the only Americans in there, it wasn't too awkward at all. There was even an English menu! Great authentic Japanese bar.

I came here for the raw octopus sashimi that my friend really wanted to try. I don't have a photo, but the octopus sashimi was thickly sliced, plump, and very delicious! In addition, all the snacks such as mackerel and salmon sashimi, anchovy potatoes, and vinegared dishes were delicious and the drinks went well. I went there relatively early, around 5pm, so I was able to get in easily, but I got the impression that the place was almost full by 7pm. It didn't seem like they were taking reservations, so I think it's better to go early or be prepared to wait.
