Fresh fish, great menu, tasty sake. We had different dishes, starting off with the sashimi plate all the way to fried sardines. They do have an English menu, so nothing to worry about , of ur Japanese isn't up to date.

We had the assorted sushi, the assorted tempura and the spicy chicken. Note the spicy chicken is made from cold precooked chicken in a mild spicy thin sauce see photo. The menu we were given was in English and I think it is a reduced menu. The place is clean and friendly. The owner chef speaks some English. Another great thing is you can see them prepare all the food in front of you, if you eat down stairs at the bar style dining. Will be going back. Back for a second time. We had to start with the scallop cream croquette absolutely brilliant. We then had the smoked bonito which is a type of market smoked over the BBQ grill with hay. Be aware it is quite raw as the out side has only seen the flames. We then followed this with the kingfish again done on the BBQ. Cooked all the way through and moist as anything. It was a great evening. The head chef made conversation and gave us the recommendations which went down well.

The food was delicious and fresh. The seaweed tofu is a must! Everything we had was phenomenal.
