Osaka, Japan｜昭和丸

This is my first time using it. I chose this restaurant because I wanted a restaurant where I could eat fish at a cheap price. There is a wide variety of fish on the menu, including sashimi and fried foods, as well as chicken and other options. I think it's delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered quite a bit, and it cost about 3000 yen per person (April 2023). The atmosphere of the shop is Showa era, so I decided to call it Showamaru. I had only been choosing meat shops, so I didn't have any experience with them, but if I have the chance, I would like to use them again.

A friend from my school days was coming to Osaka for work, so I went back for the first time in a while. Since it was Golden Week, all the restaurants were busy, but we managed to secure a seat just before 7:00pm. I ordered draft beer (280 yen), sashimi medium size (1,680 yen), and fried chicken thigh. From there, we ended up spending more than 2 hours with a flurry of draft beer refills, and the bill for the two of us was less than 6,500 yen. The staff's service, taste, and cost performance were great.

I use it for lunch, and it's a delicious fish dish with plenty of volume at a reasonable price. I especially appreciate being able to eat grilled fish that is low in calories.
