Great chicken place! The owner has limited English so if you know some Japanese it's a help. But he is super nice and if you have patience he will look after you very well. He is also a fan of rugby. Try the chicken sashimi if you haven't had it before. The chicken rice is #1. Mid priced options overall.

The store is located a 2-minute walk from Hanazonocho Station on the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line. Speaking of Nishinari Ward, people who are not familiar with Osaka may have the impression that it is difficult to stop by, but the area around this store is not like that and is a typical residential area in Osaka City. The store opens at 12:00, and I entered the store just after 12:10. It's a small restaurant with about 10 seats at the counter, and I had already decided on the chicken sashimi special bowl, but just to be sure, I checked the menu before ordering. The waiter asked me the size of the rice, and I asked for a large serving. After about 5 minutes, the rice bowl and miso soup were served, and after a while, the fried chicken arrived. The bowl contained wasabi and egg yolk, and the staff asked me to eat only the inside by pricking it with a toothpick, then sprinkled the contents and wasabi all over the chicken, and added as much soy sauce as I wanted. I sprinkled it on and mixed it. When I took a bite, I was really impressed by how fresh it was, no smell, greasy, and rich in flavor. I have eaten raw chicken sashimi before, but the meat was so thin that I had no idea what it tasted like. It's even more delicious if you eat it with rice (which probably contains sesame oil instead of soy sauce), rice, and pickles as a side dish. Much better than the seafood bowls around there that cost around 2,000 yen! When it comes to seafood bowls, the direction of the ingredients and rice is quite different, so even if you eat them together, you may not be able to tell if it's a dish or not, but this one has a sense of unity and is highly complete. The miso soup had one piece of minced chicken in it, and the minced meat was well seasoned with salt and other ingredients, and I had it mashed, which went well with rice bowls. There is plenty of chicken stock. The fried chicken was different from what it looked like, it was very juicy and the freshness and the way it was cooked was so good that it was a step above the fried chicken I've had before. I'm really surprised that this cost 1000 yen. It's a short course, really. Since it is a living thing, it may be difficult to recommend it to everyone, but if you are confident in your stomach, why not give it a try? By chance, when I was at the store, all the other customers were women, and the store staff were kind and friendly, and the store was clean, bright, and had an easy-to-enter atmosphere.

This is a shop with a history of 150 years that specializes in various chicken dishes. There is chicken sashimi here. For lunch today, I ate the chicken sashimi bento set (only 700 yen). The chicken sashimi turned out to be very delicious. Next time you come, you must try sashimi from different parts besides chicken! !
