Chanced upon this sushi place for dinner and didn't regret my decision! The staff speak no english so be aware of the language barrier, however they try their very best to accommodate us as foreigners. Our sushi platter and grilled mackerel did not disappoint, together with hot sake, we truly enjoyed our dinner!

You'll be spoiled for choice with a wide variety of menus featuring carefully selected local fish! Of course, we are proud of the horse mackerel, but in late November, we were able to enjoy other flavors that you would not normally encounter, such as sashimi of oysterfish and filefish liver with soy sauce. Depending on the timing, if there are few people, you may be directed to a counter first. I am enchanted by the master's skills as he prepares orders one after another. I was happy to be able to have a little chat with them at the counter. This is a store I want to visit every season!

It is about a 5 minute walk from Hayakawa Station. I had Honmi's lunch for about 1,800 yen and a horse mackerel set meal. I went to this restaurant for lunch, but I thought it would be a good snack for a set meal, so I ordered it. (Of course, a la carte dishes such as sashimi were also on the menu.) I visited before 1330 on a Friday, and there were about 3 tables that could seat 3 to 4 people, and the counter (1 out of 5 seats was for social distancing) was empty. For lunch, I could choose sashimi from several types of fish, and I chose filefish with liver. After all, the sashimi of skinned cloverfish mixed with liver soy sauce is delicious! The beer goes on. The seafood bowl that comes with it also has a variety of toppings on it, making it a great snack. Although it was stated that the horse mackerel set meal was limited, I was still able to order it. In addition to horse mackerel sashimi, rice bowls (horse mackerel, tuna, etc.), fried horse mackerel and boiled kinme, a small side salad and side dishes were included. It's no longer a good deal! This restaurant was a fun place to eat and drink. I mainly drink, so it was great to be able to have it during the day. For bottled beer, you could choose dry or Ebisu. It was a medium bottle, but if it was a large bottle, it would be a store you would want to visit even from Tokyo. I would like to visit again.
