Chigasaki, Kanagawa, Japan｜魚笑

On the last day of my 2-night, 3-day autumn unlimited ride ticket, I almost didn't get off midway through the train, and I rode the train from Kanazawa Station until I arrived at Chigasaki Station after 4:00 pm. As expected, we had dinner here. I looked it up on Google Maps and visited Umi, which is located right next to the north exit of Chigasaki Station. This seafood izakaya is run by a fishmonger and is popular for serving seasonal local fish. This is a two-operated store run by an older sister and older brother. There was already a young female drinker, who seemed to be a regular, sitting at the four-seat counter. There were two tables, but they were empty at the time. I was really tired, so I ordered a draft beer and three sashimi dishes (all prices under 1,000 yen excluding tax), and Tosaki squid tempura (500 yen). Ah, it’s delicious! It wasn't long before we were served three sashimi plates: raw whitebait, hiramasa, and tuna, all in generous portions. Everything was delicious, but the raw shirasu was fresh, sweet, and delicious. Sakiika's tempura is less salty and more delicious than the dried squid tempura at kushiage restaurants in Kansai, so it's definitely worth ordering. Next, we ordered lemon sour and boiled dumplings for 500 yen, miso-stewed mackerel for 500 yen, and grilled burikama for 500 yen, each of which was delicious and thank you for your meal. I ended up ordering a little too much at around 4,000 yen, but the seafood is reasonably priced and delicious, so I think I'll come back again.

I don't have much to say. Everything is delicious! ! The sashimi was so plump and greasy 😳 Other people ordered it and it looked delicious, so next time I would like to try the sashimi set meal 🤤

I decided to visit Uosho because I heard that their 1,100 yen lunch was delicious and popular. The restaurant is small with only 5 seats at the counter and 2 at tables, but it's okay if you go outside lunchtime. They are a friendly older sister and older brother, and it seems that some people fall in love with their personalities and return to visit them over and over again. I ordered the fried lunch set meal for 1,100 yen. It's great that everything is freshly fried ❗ The two kisses, cream croquettes, and three large shrimp are all freshly fried and very delicious 😋🍴💕 Since it's a fish shop, everything is fresh and voluminous, and the sashimi is especially popular. This is one item I would like to try next time.
