If you want to eat seasonal oysters in Kawaguchi, don't go to an oyster bar, go to Hiroya, no questions asked. Try raw oysters, fried oysters, and oyster gratin. Two large raw oysters cost 580 yen. It's definitely the same price as any local izakaya or sushi restaurant. The price of oysters in the shell can vary depending on how they are presented, but the owner says, ``You don't want to pay that much for oysters, do you?'' It's delicious no matter what I eat, but my favorites are the delicious appetizers that change every time, and the curry spiced torito.
