Moriyama, Shiga, Japan｜魚食堂 一魚一會

This is a great store for a prefecture without a sea. Since it was my first time, I ordered a sashimi set meal, seafood bowl top, Shirako tempura, squid foot tempura, and salt-grilled Atka mackerel (I forgot the photo). First of all, the sashimi was thick and filling, and the tempura was crispy and delicious without being overwhelming. The salt-grilled meat was also fluffy and delicious. Next time I would like to try the fried set meal. It seemed to be a popular restaurant, and when we arrived at 11:10, there were three groups waiting.

A shop with a fish shop attached. I had the fried horse mackerel set meal, and it's been a while since I've had something so satisfying in both taste and volume. I was also very impressed by the bright and lively interior of the restaurant and by the staff who served me, which really enhanced the taste of the meal. There are 5 or 6 parking spaces (I don't remember exactly) right in front of the store. If you come from the Biwako Ohashi Bridge, you have to turn right, so if there are a lot of oncoming cars and there are cars behind you, it will stop the flow, so it might be a little difficult to stop. (I personally don't care at all) I would definitely like to go eat there again.

I went there just before 12:00 on a weekday. Coincidentally, there was no wait and I was guided right away. The next person was waiting. I ordered the sashimi set meal, and my companion ordered the rice bowl. For the sashimi set meal, the sashimi is so thick and big that you can't really tell from the photo. Of course it's very fresh. The rice bowl had plenty of large salmon roe, topped with salmon roe. It's many times cheaper than buying sashimi at the supermarket. I found a store I want to go to again (^^) The portions are really large, so be careful if you are a light eater! !
