Came here because of the recommendation of the homestay manager. The food and atmosphere of the nostalgic izakaya in the old town are very good, and the clerks are warm, kind and lovely. Many of the restaurants in front of Nagahama Station are izakaya-style, but I think this one is by far the best in terms of delicious food and service. It can be used in a wide range of situations, from drinking alone at the counter to banquets for large groups in the tatami room on the second floor. As the name suggests, the main focus is "robata and sake." The restaurant's most recommended dish, ``Straw-grilled Bonito,'' paired with Nagahama's wide selection of local sake, is the perfect combination. In addition to local sake, there is also a wide variety of sake ordered from all over the country as part of the ``Today's Sake Menu,'' which changes depending on the time of year and the manager's choice. The food menu is also wide-ranging. The "Today's Recommendations" menu seems to change almost every day. With a wide variety of seasonal fish, obanzai menus that use them, seasonal snacks, and more, you'll be able to discover new deliciousness every time you visit. There were many menu items that children would enjoy (deep-fried chicken, french fries, shrimp with mayo, etc.). However, there are very few dishes made with local ingredients. I don't think there are many such things in Nagahama itself. If you want to try Nagahama's famous cuisine, this is the place to go. It looked like a store built by renovating an old folk house, and it had a warm atmosphere. Personally, I find it very relaxing. However, as others have written, the washroom is only on the second floor. . It may be unavoidable due to the structure, but if you get drunk, it will be a hassle to go there. lol In any case, I highly recommend it to those who want to have fun and delicious drinks at an izakaya. I recommend this store rather than going to the national chain stores that I hear so much about.

Uomaru-san is the shop I was most looking forward to today. The combination of Amaou, cream cheese and salty prosciutto is the best. ・French fries with kabayaki sauce (¥480) →Honma also has sansho (?), but since he has children, it comes with ketchup.
