We had a great time at this place. The owner and chef was very nice and skilled (as per the other reviews) and we got by on my limited Japanese. There is an English menu but the Japanese menu has a lot more items if you're able to read/translate it - there are actually a lot of dishes available including daily recommendations. The atmosphere is very nice with bar seating, low lighting and nice background music. We got quite a few dishes and a few drinks and the price was very reasonable. The karaage, katsu and tamagoyaki we had were fantastic. It is worth noting that smoking is allowed inside, so when a group came in and started smoking we did want to leave. Thankfully we had already finished everything.

Amazing experience. Very kind owner, doing everything on his own, he both cooks and serves. Meat was very delicate, sashimi was perfect. You can feel real Japan in this place.

It’s a small Japanese bar/restaurant with seating at Japanese tables and at the counter where the single chef prepares the food. There is an English menu available le with a range of fried, tempura, and rice bowls dishes plus a few side dishes. Quality of the food was very good. This isn’t McDonalds so don’t go expecting fast food, it is a place to enjoy the atmosphere, drink a beer and listen to the quiet jazz music while your meal is carefully prepared.
