Wakayama, Japan｜Kuro-shio Shieki-mae branch

A wonderful neighborhood izakaya. This place is definitely off the tourist path and more of an authentic place that locals frequent. It was festive and busy when I went. The food was fantastic - fresh sashimi, pork chop, grilled fish, etc. It was all good. The owner/chef was friendly and the staff were great.

It was delicious no matter what I ate! When the restaurant got crowded, the food took a while to come out, but it was still so delicious that I wanted to go back. Not only the seafood but also the yakitori was delicious. As for payment, I don't think you can use PayPay, I think it was cash or VISA.
